چکیده
We re-visit Unclonable Encryption as introduced by Gottesman in~2003 \cite{uncl}. look at the combination of and Key Recycling, while aiming for low communication complexity high rate. introduce a qubit-based prepare-and-measure scheme with re-usable keys. Our consists single transmission Alice classical feedback from Bob. The to Bob entirely qubits. rate, defined message length divided number qubits, is higher than what can be achieved using Gottesman's scheme~\cite{uncl}. provide security proof based on diamond norm distance, taking noise into account.

Quantum Authentication and Encryption with Key Recycling
We propose an information-theoretically secure encryption scheme for classical messages with quantum ciphertexts that offers detection of eavesdropping attacks, and re-usability of the key in case no eavesdropping took place: the entire key can be securely re-used for encrypting new messages as long as no attack is detected. This is known to be impossible for fully classical schemes, where ther...
متن کاملOptimal attacks on qubit-based Quantum Key Recycling
Quantum Key Recycling (QKR) is a quantum-cryptographic primitive that allows one to re-use keys in an unconditionally secure way. By removing the need to repeatedly generate new keys it improves communication efficiency. Škorić and de Vries recently proposed a QKR scheme based on 8-state encoding (four bases). It does not require quantum computers for encryption/decryption but only single-qubit...
متن کاملBarrel Shifter Physical Unclonable Function Based Encryption
Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs) are circuits designed to extract physical randomness from the underlying circuit. This randomness depends on the manufacturing process. It differs for each device enabling chip-level authentication and key generation [1] applications. We present a protocol utilizing a PUF for secure data transmission. Parties each have a PUF used for encryption and decryptio...
متن کاملUnclonable encryption revisited
Unclonable Encryption is a technique similar to Quantum Key Distribution and authentication of quantum states; it quantum-protects classical ciphertext so that it cannot be copied by eavesdroppers. We propose an improved variant which has higher efficiency and much better noise tolerance. Our variant uses four cipherstate bases that are equally spaced on the Bloch sphere, instead of the usual +...
متن کاملHardware-Based Public-Key Cryptography with Public Physically Unclonable Functions
A physically unclonable function (PUF) is a multiple-input, multipleoutput, large entropy physical system that is unreproducible due to its structural complexity. A public physically unclonable function (PPUF) is a PUF that is created so that its simulation is feasible but requires very large time even when ample computational resources are available. Using PPUFs, we have developed conceptually...
